About Coast 2 Coast 4 Cancer (C2C4C)

The C2C4C ride involves more than 230 Bristol Myers Squibb team members who have committed themselves to extensive training so that they can give back to cancer patients on their cross-country ride. Eighteen teams will relay across country as each rider completes their 225-mile leg. Before and during the ride, cyclists will stay focused on raising funds in support of the V Foundation's quest to achieve Victory Over Cancer® by investing in extraordinary research nationwide. The C2C4C ride begins September 8 and concludes October 1.

About the V Foundation

Who They Are

The V Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to achieving Victory Over Cancer®. ESPN and the late Jim Valvano, legendary North Carolina State University basketball coach and commentator, founded the organization shortly before Jim succumbed to cancer in 1993.

What They Do

The V Foundation funds game-changing research and all-star scientists to accelerate victory over cancer and save lives. Its world-class Scientific Advisory Committee, comprised of leading researchers and physicians from prominent cancer centers and universities, oversees the grant-making process to ensure proposals meet the highest standards of scientific merit and the best scientists are funded nationwide.

How They Do It

The V Foundation awards grants through a highly competitive awards process strictly supervised by a world-class Scientific Advisory Committee. The Foundation funds research across the country for all types of cancer and is committed to funding projects and people that will make the most significant impact. The V Foundation awards 100 percent of direct donations to cancer research and programs. The V Foundation’s endowment covers administrative expenses.

We are so excited about Bristol Myers Squibb’s support of the V Foundation for the 2021 C2C4C Ride.
